Google Chrome just tagged the Self Indulgence website as malware so I removed it from my blog.

New Business

I was just at City of Destiny in Tacoma.  It is located 1 block from the Tacoma Dome and one block from the Tacoma Dome station in the Crystal Voyage building.  It just opened one month ago and offers sensory deprivation float tanks.  The float tanks have 1,000 pounds of Epsom Salts added to the water making you super buoyant.  I've been having chronic back pain and after doing a 90 minute float, I got some noticeable relief for a couple of days.

The rates are affordable and the extended hours makes it easy to visit, even around a busy work schedule.

Check them out at www.destinyfloats.com.  You will be glad you did.

Solay 84 Minerals Mud Mask

Here is Solay's 84 mineral mud mask.  It is a clay mask, so it can be drying but it does invigorate the skin and leaves it with a glow.  Apply, let dry and wash off. Follow with moisterizer.  It is available at: www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/idevaffiliate.php?id=605

Solay 84 Minerals Face Cream

I tried the Solay 84 Minerals Face Cream.  It makes a good lightweight moisterizer for daytime use.  Helps makeup go on smoother.  It is available at: www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/idevaffiliate.php?id=605

Fun Nail Colours

Avon has come out with some really fun nail colours for a great price.  And they are "greener" too.  They are free of formaldehyde, toluene and phthalates.  They last as long as the salon brands but at $2.99 who can go wrong?  My favourites are Electric Green, Lagoon and Vivid Violet.
The colour shown here is Midnight Plum, another one I'd like to try.

Eye Candy Fun! Fun! Fun!

I just bought this eye shadow palette kit and all I can say is FUN!  Although it isn't "green" per se, it definately is fun.  For those who are a Criminal Minds fan, I always drool over the character Penelope Garcia's (played by Kirsten Vanagess) wardrobe and makeup.  She definately has the style I like.  I bought this because I could never find bright green eyeshadow (the greens you usually find are muted like olive and moss).  For the price, you definately can afford to play and experiement.

Healthy Facial Primer

I have come up with my own recipe for a healthy facial primer to help your makeup go on smoother and as a lightweight moisterizer.
4 TBSP coconut oil
1 TBSP emu oil
10 drops essential oil (I used Young Living Essential Beauty Serum for dry skin)
Mix well with a miniature spatula and store in a jar.
